PRESTECH Ltd.
Prestech has considerable experience of the provision of Leak Test Machines, these may be Dry Air and/or Wet
types; and may include some assembly process.
In addition to complete test systems we also manufacture to models of Leak Test Units and are able to customise these as required as well as providing full service and support..The MPC100 is a rugged cabinet mounting unit which offers greater ease of use at a lower cost than most competitive units; it is primarily intended for production line use where typically it is required to detect leak levels of greater than 5cc/min, and the unit functions as a GO/NO GO system. The unit has a built in analogue meter for display of any leak and test parameters; the test result is shown on large l.e.d.s. 24 volt outputs are provided to show the unit operation and test result, and an analogue output option may be used for Data Logging or to provide operator feedback via a conveniently placed meter.
The MPC200 is a cabinet/desktop mounting unit capable of measuring leaks of less than 1 cc/min with very flexible control of test parameters or a semi automatic mode. The unit has a bright front panel digital display and keypad for the setting of test parameters for one or two test cycles*. Output signals are 'volt free' contacts and a serial output, RS232, is provided for Data Recording. This is a very sensitive instrument suitable for both development and production testing and can show actual leak rates in cc's/min or mmWg. To increase throughput in a production environment the facility for the unit to automatically shorten a test cycle on obviously good or bad components is incorporated, where it would only go to full cycle for marginal components.
* Common 'Set Pressure' via built in regulator.
Notes :
Dry Air Leak Testing functions by filling a sealed component with air at the required pressure and then measuring any change in the pressure to determine any leak rate.
Where it is desired to measure leak rates which produce a change of less than 1/10000 of the applied pressure
per second other factors can effect this greatly and special system design is required - for advice contact as below.
